Why's it costing you crystals?

Reading between the lines, the OP believes ship shards are going as well as arena shards?  This is not the case.  Arena rewards are (in whatever form) moving to Era PvP and the sandbox/training mode is just that; a free mode for practising.  Ship shards are staying as is.

To answer your question, I believe not.  If we get a road ahead...it might map it out.  I think things will start to change with the next Era.

Thank you i figured as much with the amazing communication CG has with the player base....

Why would you spend crystals on Squad Arena? You get 5 free battles a day, and even those aren't optimal for testing because no Omicrons are in effect.

There's now other way to test new tools aka Cobb when I got him 

And that's my point it shouldn't cost me crystals to have sad testing of things I worked for
