Are Conquest Trials difficulty changed?

My account is small and I still struggle with a lot of battles, but last Conquest trials were disaster.
Before I needed a 1-2 tries to clear the battles for Bane, Malgus, Tie Interceptor. BUT!!!! Since previous Conquest it is impossible. Same teams, same mods, even more Relic levels and I can't make one move... I am nuked.

I tried then different teams... same results ... I AM totally obliterated.

I have stars.. I have 140+ shards in all of these units... but now it is impossible.

What has been changed?

P.S. All enemy units are R3 but are going through my R7-R8 as hot knife through butter.
This is not fun...

This post seems to be about Proving Grounds, not Conquest itself

    Ahhhhhhhhhh, I did wonder.

I thought there was a language issue and they meant the pilot.  I also thought 'using' these fellows.  Rereading it, it does make a lot more sense for proving grounds.

  • Watch Ahnald's video on Interceptor. My linup was slightly different, bus consisted of Empire units under a Thrawn lead with lots of control mechanics.

He used Thrawn, Mara, Palps, RG and Piett.

I used Thrawn, Palps, DTMG, Gideon and either Piett or RG, I don't remember

I have SLKR and some inquisitors. Still no luck on Tie intereceptor. I managed after 20+ tries to finish Bane and Malgus but .. it was so frustrating ... I wanted to throw my phone. And I used to auto before.

  • The impression I'm getting from several people is that the difficulty for easy and normal and their rewards; do not compare well with hard mode difficulty and the rewards you get there.

Do your best to complete your run and move on to hard difficulty as soon as possible. Getting to the end of normal should be more of a priority than getting the best crate you can.  Once you get onto hard, the difficulty is quite predictable and possibly not that much harder than normal mode.

Make sure you stay on the gold path when it ends in a data-disk node.  The gold path is pointless when it ends with a jawa node though.  With the gold path you get much better data-disks (as a rule).  Even if it's slightly tougher, it's better in the long run.

Pick up good data-disks; they make a big difference.  Currently Leader's Resolve, Zealous Ambition, Guard & Penetrate and Weak Spot are the picks of the bunch, in my opinion.  If you stay on the gold path, you shouldn't have much problem having blues and greens of the above data-disks.

For me it feels like it has become more easy since RD. I cleanen everything on 3* so far with almost only using First Order mixed in traya and Nihilus. Malgus and Inquisitors are left on 2 Stars.
