I always thought as player we were divided into different shards/servers me myself thought I was in a late Dec/2015 or early Jan/2016 server so figured the reason I couldn't break the top 50 was bcuz my server had a bunch of hard core players. Players like calling "leaderboards" shards or servers, it's just a reminder there aren't different actual servers, but multiple leaderboards on the same server. This has nothing to do with raids. You're still grouped with the same people you started with back in dec/jan in squad arena.

correct, it is just semantics. We call them shards/servers, they call them leaderboards. It is all the same thing. It is just different ways of referring to the arena rankings. And it was their way of saying "We aren't merging arenas".

Leaderboards is for guilds I believe. Arena shards a different.

I would love to start saying "on my arena leader board" instead of "on my server" since it's more accurate, but nobody ever reads anything here. I'd get really tired of having to send people the link to that dev post. So as a shorthand that everyone understands, server or shard will probably stick around. Unless we come up with a convenient acronym. ALB=arena leader board???

Are we divided as player into different servers? Bcuz I seen some info to contridict.

I think we should merge arenas though because as an early January player, I think I deserve to be put on a shard with August players because the players on my shard are just too hard.

Everyone on your ALB who is too hard would still be there if you merged. There would be lots more new players at a lower rank than you, but your situation would not improve at all unless some of the hard players were removed.

I am sure I confuse people with that because to me a shard is used to promote characters. Leaderboard shows your ranking in arena.
