Arena rewards need revamp

CG and developers started this new project to improve new player experience but they chase them away with GW and arena.
I only get 50 arena tokens per day because I can't climb the ranks with my Phoenix squad.
I have to compete with new players that bought HDB.
(I have nothing against HDB, sponsor me and I will buy HDB)
I calc its going to take 8 MONTHS to get 330 tokens for Kanan.
8 MONTHS!!!!!
I have a few suggestions:
Arena rewards should be the same as Fleet rewards.
I have another account that get 800 fleet currency and 150 sim tickets for doing nothing, rank 530.
Increase the minimum Arena rewards from 50 to 400 plus 150 sims tickets.
New players NEED 150 sim tickets more than veteran players.
I did not say nerf Fleet currency I said increase Arena currency, leave Fleet currency alone.
If new players can't climb arena ranks they still get 400 arena currency, they can buy one item from guild store per day.
That's not overpowered.
Another option:
Create 2 shards one for HDB and one for F2P
Everything stay the same if shard reach 20000 you create new chard but as soon as you buy the HDB you are removed from current shard and put in new shard especially for HDB.
Let the players who bought HDB compete amongst one another.
and let F2P players compete amongst one another.
Something had to be said.

    For argument sake take away the 10 min refresh and take away the place swap system.
    Everyone get 5 battles per day.
    You get 1 point for a lost and 3 points for a win.
    You need 15 points to move from division f to division e
    You need 15 points to move from division e to division d
    You get the idea it takes 15 points to move from division to division.
    Division rewards:
    Division f 50 crystals, 200 arena tokens and x amount of money
    Division e 100 crystals, 100 arena tokens and x amount of money
    Division d 100 crystals, 100 arena tokens and x amount of money
    Division c 100 crystals, 100 arena tokens and x amount of money
    Division b 100 crystals, 100 arena tokens and x amount of money
    Division a 100 crystals, 100 arena tokens and x amount of money
    Rewards are accumulative, you get rewards for division f+e+d+c+b+a
    Rewards are send to your inbox daily at reset.
    F2P can reach division a in 6 days without spending if they do 5 battles and win all 5
    Big spenders can reach division a by spending 300 crystals.
    Everyone who reach division a gets the same rewards.
    This is where it gets interesting.
    Reward players for spending real money or crystals.
    The more you refresh and fight the more points you get.
    x amount of points will give you extra rewards for example
    500 points per week will give you 330 Piett shards
    1000 points per week will give you gear to take Piett from gear level 1 to 13
    2000 points will give you enough materials to take Piett to relic 7
    15 000 points will give you a GL
    20 000 points will give you GL's abilities

    I think this will bring Arena to life instead of doing 2 daily battles for daily achievements.

    How do you like that for capitalism!

  • That's an awful lot of work for something that's working fine as it is. If you can't accept the current system, move on.

    @SidVicious444 So, whoever plays more battles receives more rewards (as if the game isn't time consuming enough as it is) ? And instead of encouraging players to battle the highest ranking player within their scope (potentially the strongest player) your system encourages players to battle the weakest enemy? And with no place swap and no 10 minutes refresh you can just keep fighting this one weakest enemy over and over again? And 167 wins on the same week (less than 4 refreshes for 5 new battles per day) will win you 330 Piett shards?

    You really should begin to think your ideas through....

    If those 2 battles are all you do then I'm not surprised that you don't even reach top-10k. Maybe you should reconsider your strategy.

    I'm not going to go as far as saying "it ain't broke", because it surely could be improved upon, but it is not even close to needing that much of a rework/change

    Ok you got the capitalist part, but now it needs to be balanced with game development time, play time, and the many other factors that are used to judge both a game mode and the players interaction with the game and game modes.

    Anything that adds an open ended "the more you play the more you earn" is a bad thing. It leads to burn out, and cannot be balanced by the dev team trying to manage in game time.

    One more thing:

    In your OP you complained about how few arena tokens you are able to win in squad arena. With your system the max number of tokens anyone can win is 700 per week, which requires fighting at least 25 battles (all wins). With the current system it only takes a minimum of effort to win far more tokens than that. The minimum reward with your system is 200 tokens a week. With the current system it's 350 tokens.

    I'm not sure how your system would solve your problem or what you're trying to accomplish.

    I'm not a developer, it is not my job to figure out the details.
    I get nothing out of the deal.
    I just want the developers to increase the rewards from 50 to 200
    The original post was from 50 to 400 and then you corrected me.
    I agree option 2 is a bad idea!
    Option 3 is a good EXAMPLE of capitalism.

    The original post was I want the developers to increase the rewards from 50 to 400
    Then I changed it from 50 to 200 plus 200 from daily reward.
    I agree option 2 are a bad idea.
    Option 3 is going to take major rework and like you said before there are no plans to change Arena or the sim tickets.
    But I need sim tickets, Arena tokens and GW tokens to move forward.
    I get option 3 from Underworld Empire Battle Royal and AFKArena.
    Underworld Empire is celebrating there 9th birthday, they must be doing something right and AFKarena is the top 10 grossing game.
    They must also be doing something right.
    Most of the RNG games are the same just different graphics or themes.
    For example Underworld Empire and James Bond world of espionage are the same game just different graphics or themes.

    I get nothing out of the deal.

    You wish to win more rewards. You wish the developers to solve your "problem" instead of having to work for the rewards yourself.

    I'd say that you do get something out of the deal.
