Maxed out regroup and tried it again, still getting killed 4 of 8 Tier 1. I can't get the ewok elders killed fast enough. They keep reviving each other.

I won with Palp, DV, TFP, R2 and K2SO. Only palp and K2 were gear XI

The TM management is also very important

I'm sorry many of you are having a tough time. Although I have spent some embarrassing money on this game, I have used droids since day 1 and they don't require money, just some time to gear up. It is easy to finish all tiers taking little damage with droids. I Used HK (L), IG88, IG86, R2D2, B2. Aside from R2D2 who is modded for extreme speed (over 250), none of my droids are very fast. HK runs at 145 speed, B2 at 126, and the IGs are between 160 and 180. TM gain from HK lead is key to victory.

Obviously this doesn't help people who didn't invest in droids but they have their uses; they are extremely good in GW and there now have been multiple events that allowed the use of droids. Just saying for those struggling, droids are not hard at all to farm and if you don't have B2 or R2D2, sub in some empire toons. One day I swear they will get a cleanser. Maybe BB8 "Thumbs Up" will be a cleanse move for droids.

Funny that was exactly my team, all l85 beside RG who is l80. Only TFP is g11, the rest of them are g9 and g10

Yeah, it sucks, nice rewards too. Too bad this event is geared towards level 85 players with gear 11 toons, at least some gear 11 toons seems to be require since this seems impossible other wise.

The only thing less fun than this event is the luke event.

I have a gear 10 EP 85 with 3 Omegas Vader gear 9 85 1 omega shoretrooper gear 8 85 omega on heal tfp 85 gear 8 and tarkin gear 8 85 and can barely make it to stage 4 on tier 1 so my team is decent, it's a fucking joke of an event

This is the WORST implementation CG has put out yet. I'd be hanging my head in shame if I was part of their dev team.

Here is a compiled list of what I see as either incompetence or just laziness:

The game obviously runs off an entity system. Updates where added to accommodate the bonus tier changes and Tier 1 & 2 were effected as well.

* Tier 1 is now harder than Tier 2 (do you all have a QA team? If so, do they actually do anything? This should have been caught by the devs to begin with, well before it made it to QA)
* If the changes were intended (which would be borderline insanity), your attention to detail is staggering:
-- Tier 1:
-- Recommended Level: 75+
-- Recommended Gear: Tier 8+
-- Tier 2:
-- Recommended Level: 80+
-- Recommended Gear: Tier 9+
* Was ANY thought or time given to game balance and the the target audience of the initial 2 tiers? Whoever is in charge of targeting paying players should just be fired. Which brings you more money? the top 5% who spend ^^ $s? or the 80% that spend moderate $s? This is simple math. To me, it seems you go OUT OF YOUR WAY to alienate your largest revenue source. Un-freaking-believable.

On a positive note, the bonus stage was crazy hard, but appropriate for the intended players.

Got it with full droid team g9 HK-50, g11 zR2D2, g10 Ig-88, g10 Ig-86, g10 K2SO.
Was not easy, but doable.
