Automated Relic 9 increase message missing in Guild Chat

Another change that was made during this release, is that Relic 9 was removed from the automated 'increase' messages in Guild Chat. This issue may seem minor but it actually is a bad change for two reasons.

  1. Guild Leaders and Officers use these Relic 9 messages for RotE tracking.
  2. It is an impressive achievement that requires months of investment and players like to see their accomplishment displayed for all to see and player recognition.

Please revert that small change as soon as possible as this was definitely not something players asked for. In fact many players would want both Relic 8 and Relic 9 increases included.

There's several bots and sites you can use to make ROTE tracking easier for you.

Especially with the improved relic material economy that came with the anniversary update. R9s aren't that expensive anymore.

  • Months of investment? Nonsense. A week maybe, or a month max for low end accounts but rubbish to say getting something to R9 is that huge an investment.

  • Relic 10 is the new benchmark after that Relic 11 and 12 and...so on and so forth.

You will only see players upgrading to Relic 10 in the guild chat from now on.

It would be neat if guild officers or leaders could configure what notifications showed up in chat. R9 hasn't suddenly become so common as to be unworthy of notice - at least not for my guild.

    1. R10 is now the new max level so it only makes sense that you're NOT going to see a guild member promote a unit to R9
    2. Stop being lazy when it comes to RotE tracking. As a guild leader/officer you should KNOW what you need for platoons in RotE and have an idea of who is closest to the units that you need to fill whatever ops you are going after. If you're checking on your members activities (or shudder...asking them to communicate to you WHEN they promote a unit for RotE purposes) then this should be a mute point
  • Once upon a time, chat gave notifications about R7. Then R8. Then R9. The chat tells you if someone in the guild raised a character to max relic level, which is now R10.

If you were relying on that chat notification to keep track of ROTE platoon R9s, then I'm impressed with your patience for the in-game chat system, because it's awful. Spamming the chat with "X raised A toon to gear 9" may have been noteworthy in 2016, now it's just spam. I wish the chat gave fewer notifications. As is, it's useless for actually talking, which I would have assumed would be the primary function of in-game chat.

Can't you guys have guildmates notify a guild officer on Discord when someone builds an R9 for platoons?
