I feel like the devs and community relations people have been awfully quiet since the new year. There were a couple of small things and they have hinted that there is more on the way in the near futur...

You are probably right. I am certainly not clamoring for any new toons, although I would not be mad if they just threw a whole bunch of new ones in that were instantly farmable. I get kind of annoyed with all of the new characters being event driven. I would not mind just getting some new characters loaded into some of the nodes and having to start at 0, like when the game was new.
I am more interested in what long term plans are in the works. I do not watch the game changer videos and do not really like to read into rumors. I just would like to hear from them, as they have done in the past, with an overview of some new things to look forward to. For instance, is there a new raid coming, are they working on making guilds more dynamic, what is the strategic vision for ships, etc.?
