Naw. These changes ruin the p2p guys. They give f2p a chance to catch up and see what's up at the next level.
Whales don't need to get their panties into a wad though. Most of the mods will probably end up rather vanilla. The amount of combinations will turn out to be not that great or meaningful as it might appear. Soon enough most people will have devent lvl 5 mods on their key arena toons and things will settle down again.
Even if u don't buy energy u will be there in a week. Unless u are broke on credits and can't finishelp GW.
Mods are so much faster and cheaper than gear. Yes they are crazy powerful. But It won't take long for everyone to get relatively similar power mods.
Spoken like someone who has no clue. Wait until you run into to your first whale in GW. Your tune will change. I am a whale and I'm telling you this is beyond broken for f2p more so than p2p. I have no problem shelling out several hundred bucks to blow you out of the water. Neither does any other whale. That's why we are whales. What we are pissed about is the months of effort put to farming to get where we are to have it erased in one night.
Over the last 2 months, f2p players have caught up bc the only way to get gear was through raids, I couldn't pay for gear (reliably). Now I can, and not only that, it's even easier!
Wait until you reach us in gw, or arena, or when ea releases the next event and it is tuned for level 78 mk3-5. You will see just how farm behind f2p is when p2p will still complete it.
Aside from the fact that I won't, bc OP is completely right and I would rather quit than watch EA continue to break the game for all involved.
