I try and stay overtly positive towards this game, hence the reason why I play. With the announcement of Baylan Skoll and loving his character and Ray as an actor I decided to whale for the first time on this. So I’m sure this issue doesn’t affect many as of right now but some things just with some kits just can’t be seen on paper right away. The main core of Baylans kit is locked behind his omicrons and datacron. In squad arena testing his performance is lacking severely for being the newest epic confrontation unit. I understand grand arena will look different but I think it should be common for a character’s power to be determined in any game mode with omicrons boosting that power, not holding it. This is not a dig at CG or any dev, I appreciate their work on keeping this game strong for 9 years for us all. Just things like him not being able to taunt at the start of battle without an omicron is crazy to me. So this post is nothing more than trying to bring awareness to an extremely lacking early non-omicron baylan performance and hoping to see change with how omicroned abilities are structured moving forward.

It’s not hyperbole to say that malak and gas are still currently both far superior toons, and are 3(?) years old, and were epic confrontations I believe? Side note, their events were also both much better. This release was just plain lazy.

I agree wholeheartedly I think this character is disappointing and not at all what we were promised which is unfortunate because of the energy Ray brought to a character we were seeing for the first time. I agree that too much of this characters power is locked behind omicrons and the massive offense and defense gains we were promised are simply not there. I also hope for a buff for this character.

It's trash....all those words in kit for nothing. Gungans smoke them! One game mode toons belong in the garbage....along with their Levi" bullcrap.

It’s pretty astounding how bad he is, at least outside of gac, that part remains to be seen. but everything beats him by the look of it, hell id put money on Jawas torching him, and that’s not being facetious. Absolutely unbelievable how undertuned he appears, I honestly wonder if the kits is bugged.

He's trash, tbh. No need to find other excuses like "he can dominate the GAC" or something. The fact is he can take down nobody, prolly not even Sith triumvirate or Malgus, compared with Bokatan

I don’t see how Shin’s omicron will stop the current teams beating him either. It was such a great character to be excited for. How can people be happy they paid money for the merc team as is?

I too got scammed investing in Baylan.
After his disappointing performance outside GAC and a useless DC, I get this in GAC
R2 dies and counters at the same time, no buttons no auto, stuck on nothing.
I want my resources back from the poor confrontation characters.
Utter tier 5 legendary trash also getting deleted by tier 4 joke of a legendary lol. Total ripoff.

I am too scammed. The GAC test proved that Baylan is nothing but a total loser that Great Mother can easily dunk on.
I put Qira, Baylan, Shin, Marrok and Hondo R8 and these 5 are a real combo of losers. Shame on the designer of Baylan. Shame on you.

Yeah, this was the first group I spent enough money to day one it, and I feel totally burnt about it. Between this, the fleet tragedy, and not being able to beat anything but tier 1 of this new AB with an R5 Death, G12 Night, and G10 Enoch (don't have the zetas and mods aren't there yet), I'm finally feeling the disillusionment that so many others are feeling. I'm sure they don't care about one dude's money, but I'm definitely not spending more, and not out of some angry protest. I just don't trust that it's going to be worth it anymore. Maybe I'll re-evaluate if it feels like they're actually going to put any effort into course correction, but they'll probably just continue to try to mask this mess with an occasional free pack or something. People have been flipping out about this stuff, and they still have not said a word about it.....

At least it helped me be wary and stop spending on neat little packs, even conquest pass, malgus gonna have to wait a few more months lol.
I wonder tho if this will be addressed.

Once the datacron is gone, I believe this legendary will even no longer be an inconvenience to go up against.
