I just faced a team in gw with baze in it. I have a video I can try to upload if needed. My question is how can baze counter every attack when he doesn't have retribution, and to top it off even has buff immunity during most of the match. I thought he only counters when he has retribution? If he counters 100% of the time then there's no point in him getting the buff.

Was there chirrut imwe with him on the team ? chirut with his "indomitable will" has 17% counter chance for each living enemy. This bonus goes to baze too.

i faced a Baze Squad where the same happend and there was no Chirrut

Chirrut was there part of the time, baze kept countering every attack even after I took Chirrut out.

Not a single empire toon on my squad, that still doesn't answer why he is countering without chirrut and no retribution...

i believe it's a known bug that baze keeps his counterchance after chirrut has already been eliminated.

Biggs keeps his bonus if wedge is out.
Chirrut keeps his Max health if Baze is out.
All allies still gain HoTs when chirrut is out.

Thus Baze keeps his retribution when Chirrut is out.

If this is the case then it should just say "baze has 100% counter chance no matter what" that isn't the case, chirrut was dead baze had buff immunity and did not have the retribution buff, yet countered every attack.

Ye and fixing TFP aoe probably has a higher prio than this bug which is more gamebreaking imo.
Too bad they can't fix more in once like a normal patch would do.
