Why doesn't it taunt everytime a teammate inflicts target lock?

Target lock is messed up period! I've had matches using mace lead with biggs, itf, and slave 1 without being able to inflict a target lock the entire match, yet the ai had 4 of my 5 ships target locked at the same time at one point in the match.
