That a resistance squad can't hold on defense.Not that I've tried, but any I saw on my shard, all dropped like a big rock in the oceanYet, they are by far, my go to squad in GW. On offense, they're simply incredible and fun.It's a shame they can't be competitive in arena.

I've seen Resistance hold before. They can beat a Rex team rather easily. Zaul still kind of takes the cake against them though.You are right about them being great on offense as well. They are better than the clones in my opinion as far as PVE content goes.

Yes they can be competitive when you are using them correctly. Before they fix resistance expose mechanism I was place > 10 place in arena and after night I was move into 40-50 place. Right now with zFinn, Poe, RT, GK, R2D2 I can stay in top 5 and after night im moving to about 20 place. So yeah right now they are much strong in deffence - but GK helps also :)

Essentially, you are correct that a full resistance team or 4/5 does not have the same capability to hold on defense as other synergies, but a fully maxed one will do well against other teams that are not fully maxed or made their team optimal yet. For example, when I was still building my Sith team and didn't have all the mods with speed secondary I do now, I had a lot of trouble defeating a particular Resistance team on defense in my shard.

agreed that mods are meta

however, i'm in a developped december 2015 shard.

many have great mods by now (or at least for an arena team)

in any case, this is not an actual complain, just a comment. I wish a resitance could hold on defense as well as the meta's

Ya, a 5/5 resistance squad cannot hold all that well, i would drop from top 10 to near 50 if I go 5/5. But now i run 4/5 with my 4th as RzDz and GK. The farthest i have dropped is mid 20s and i have not lost a match on offense. Even when their whole team has gone before me.

As long as you have 3 of something, I'm cool if you call it that faction. I ran Zaul, Nihilus, Palp, B2 and Zylo and still called a Sith team. People run HK, IG88, IG86 + JE + Nebit and call it a droid team. It's okay - we don't need to be gatekeepers. ;)
