So...........it's been almost a year with the new GAC format. Since that time, there's been quite a few new teams and revamped teams added and datacrons and omicrons making even more viable.Not extensively we've had Inquisitors, Mandalorians being viable, left over Imp troopers, Dr Aphra, Inquisitors, Hutt Cartel, Stary Starros and rubbishrebels, 5hort-y, Inquisitors, Tuskens, Star Killer, a 2nd viable resistance team, Inquisitors, QGJ and friends that laugh at him dying, Wampa, Fish guy named after the ship, Inquisitors, a 2nd viable BH team just off of the top of my head I'm sure there are more.However, how many of these can we use? Or how many teams we were using have been pretty much retired?What I'd like to see is an extra team added on defence to all leagues. However, splitting Carbonite into 2 with the lower half staying as it was (that cannot be dropped into, but that's another topic). At the very least I definitely think it's time for Kyber and Aurodium to have an extra team, and maybe Chrom 1 so the jump isn't so big.I very much feel I and my opponents are not being stretched anywhere near a year ago. The increased difficulty associated with adding another team on defense and needing another team for offense will hit smaller accounts harder. That being said, they'd all be hit so they'd all be dealing with the same problem. Honestly, if they decided to do this, I'd just deal with it. I know a lot of people still enjoy GAC. Just as a matter of personal preference though, I'd rather deal with fewer teams than more teams.

Please no. I am in bronzium for quite a while. Bouncing between b2 and b3. I am 2.5 m account. I have few friends like me. Unlike you we can not invest in many teams. Adding an extra team on defense also means you potentially need more teams for offense. So yes, not very attractive.

With datacrons and new omicrons there are enough other ways to increase variety imho. Adding more team slots is not the right solution.

At the current state with those big discrepancies in roster size of opponents I don't think this is a good idea. It would only make it more difficult for the smaller accounts while the bigger ones profit even more, because they still have enough squads to fill the slots, making it even more impossible for the smaller opponent to clear.
Eventhough I have more squads now than like half a year ago, I still don't have enough squads to full clear and set a full defence if I make only 1 mistake or can not use my solo characters , that only work on certain squads, let alone full clear high relic squads. I still have to set squads on defence, that are not (full) relic to be able to get by.

If you look at it from the other side, if the required squad number stays the same while your roster grows with Omis etc, it would give the chance to have more variety actually. For example you now have 4 instead of 2 squads to choose from, mixing it up on defence. If your opponent looks at your history, they never now what they will get or if you look up their history, you can taylor your defence more fitting to their roster or defence.

If you have too many unused teams, than you are not setting strong enough defense. You dont have to one shot everything. You can 2 shot teams too.

If they add another slot it will be just longer. It would not make defense stronger if ppl will not set strong team in that one slot.

The problem is CG never awards us for more work…more teams = more work. Same rewards…no thanks. Yes, I said it’s work…many of these recent additions to the game as turned fun into work.
