If only we'd known sooner...- Huge difference in communication.
This person seems to be more available to the players. "Lumiya;c-2348209" wrote:

They won’t be after he deals with this games community lmao.- Maybe we will finally get some community interaction on here but I won't hold my breath lol.

This speaks VOLUMES about SWGOH's CM's. Surely Crumb didn't need approval to say this here....and even if he did, baby leave isnt something that sneaks up on you.....extreme poor planning. Why is it so hard for the playerbase to have good comms with the dev team....I'll never understand.
I'm sure Crumb will tell us when he is going on leave
Its up to him to decide to tell us when he is taking a break, don't see why anyone is upset over when someone decides to tell the public he is taking paternal leave
its not your business, all you need to know is that Crumb is going to be away before he goes away, and that someone is stepping in during the interim, which they'll announce eventually
It's about the constant lack of communication. Once again, we find out important information from outside sources. CG planned for this by having Meathead lend his services, so why didn't they have a plan to communicate that? That speaks to poor planning (just like the entirety of Ships). This just illustrates the problem of communication we have here. This is supposed to be a professional studio, and I am voicing my opinion saying that they are not acting like a professional studio....no social media presents, many unanswered questions on the "official forum". once again, the "Dev Tracker" is behind, ships are a mess ( great comms by adding another fleet...just dropped a bomb and went back behind the curtain), and we have forum mods giving answers to the communities questions, being the liaison between the players and the studio....which is the CM's job.( Hope Kyno is ok).
Bottom line is that a studio with two CM's shouldn't have these problems.
Also, I hope Crumb enjoys meeting Little Crumb and hope that the baby comes out happy and healthy. - SnuggeSnugglesRising NoviceOverall DSA is much better with communicating with their players. Let’s see if Meathead manages to sneak some of that mentality into CG during his guest appearance or if CG manages to break yet another community manager.
- ScoundrelRuiNew NoviceI think the general sentiment is
1: Congrats Crumb
2: You absolutely didn't need to tell us anything about your private life, take time off for any reason you want to
But...
3: Finding out from another games forum is just annoying "HumbleMumble;c-2348245" wrote:

Yes, people here are hard to deal with but to be fair they wouldn't be that snarky if we had better communication in the past. Communication is key, even bad news are fine to most people when you just keep talking to them. Keep them involved, make them feel like family even in hard times and they will still love you if you throw not-so-nice-things at them."24_Tuesdays;c-2348264" wrote:

Oh great, now we have to follow other games' discords to get information on SWGOH. If only there were some official communication channels, like a forum or something...
you heard about it here
But not because it was officially announced here. I don't understand why CG always waits for the last possible moment to release information. For instance with conquest datamines, the information are out there days in advance. Or with game Updates, the forum posts appear only after the update rolls out.
Why can't they tell us as soon as the information get available? If they would create negative feedback, they will ignore it anyways.- kato77New Spectator

He really should have asked permission here at the forums before engaging in marital activities. Or at least informed us about it!
