Why does ship arena have to be soooo dull?!?(I am trying really hard not to curse here and drop F-bombs left and right)So you:1) Don’t have the HMF yet and are somewhere beyond competition, or2) You do have the HMF and follow exactly blueprint xyz in order to compete with identical xyz teams for the ranks 50+, or3) You are a whale and have Kenobi’s Negotiator (and of course all other ships maxed) and compete against identical Negotiator teams for the 20+ RanksMind you option 3 only became available recently, so for the past few months it was mostly 1) and 2)...I really liked ships initially, but now it’s just stupid. Executrix and then HMF ruined everything...

What does having negotiator have to do with being a whale? It’s one of the few things in the game that you actually can’t get by whaling.

The problem with ships is the same one that it’s been for ages—hounds tooth. Every meta has had it since it was released, which means that any new content that isn’t specifically designed to counter HT is useless (yes, HMF Bistan and Biggs didn’t have HT in the starting lineup, but it was almost always a reinforcement). I’m hoping the next capital is designed to counter HT rather than negotiator, which will allow for a lot more free play.

How is anything you’ve said any different from squad arena? Asking for a friend.
