Can Someone Explain This "Sandbox" Mode You Seem To Want So Much?

So, you want to be able to try out your characters vs others without using energy, right? So, how would this work? You face random teams like in gw? Well that wouldn't really help with the theoryc...

So where's your evidence that "most of the players" wouldn't use a sandbox mode (whatever that sandbox mode may look like)? I see a lot of people on all media sources (forums, reddit, youtube, discord) cheering for a sandbox mode and it is probably one of the oldest demands of the community.
