Horrible. 5 ships to 3 is HORRIBLE. Why are they always ruining the wheel. everything else good this bad. Devs gonna Dev and ruin ships now i guess it was inevitably going to happen.... sick
Why is it bad? It sounds like reinforcement abilities are going to be made more important, so why keep a setup where over half your ships don't get to use them?"catharsis478;c-1529925" wrote:
Should I keep working on this transcript I'm making for this video then?

Got it, yet again the useful information is on reddit instead of the official forums.
This isn’t exactly in the “spirit” of improved communications we are looking for.
Technically speaking this is in the "spirit" of more communication, they are trying to get more information out there in multiple forms, which is "more". This is fitting with the idea of communicating more and being more transparent, which was the improvements the community was asking for.
I understand people may not like the form some of the early information is coming out but that is another topic, and doesn't take away from the fact that they are trying. Without a full time community manager this may just be easier for them."Dk_rek;c-1529924" wrote:

Why is this bad and horrible?
The change speeds up the game and let's you utilize a strategy for reinforcements.
Your post ju as t strikes me as someone who is afraid of change as no reasons were given for why this is bad."Nauros;c-1529937" wrote:

The only bad thing I see about it is that the AI will probably totally screw up most of the times. It is exceptionally bad at handling reinforcements and now they will have much greater strategic significance.
Potentially yes, potentially no. The AI is so terrible on using ship abilities (i.e. scimitar), this very well may be the workaround needed to bypass the absolute crap we have right now.
Reinforcements are called in the order you add them... which means you can actually plan what the AI will do now.- I agree that they are trying to engage the audience, and I like that. Videos are a good thing but should also go along with a forum post which summarizes what is said. This may be easier for them, but it needs to be easier for the consumer.

We will have to get used to it, but the current AI prioritizes reinforcements, if this stays the same, it may make the AI seem even less "I", only time will tell. In the end just something we will have to account for.
If that stays the same priority, that will do nothing but kill mace as a capital ship, since you will not get his buff up to speed him up.- Yeah I really have no clue what to think. As someone taking top 5 easily everyday, I'm a bit worried at the shakeup, but confident I'll still be better off than others on my shard. I definitely am excited that they're finally getting attention, but nervous about what will actually be the result. There's just not enough information out yet to have much of a reaction.

Eh, as someone who steadfastly and stubbornly uses Endurance, I don't think it'll be that bad. If they really are readjusting all the ships currently in the game, and include capital ships, then I think they'll rescale Endurance's speed to compensate for the reduced fleet size.
My honest to God real hope for Endurance is that they look at its Tactics and ask themselves, "Wait, why is it so high?" Tactics increase Endurance's Resistance (can't be attacked, so who cares) and Special Damage (all attacks are physical). Take a look at the stat distributions for Tarkin and Thrawn and the effect that has on their Physical and Special Damages, respectively, then look at Mace's stats. Why the hell is he getting split stat growth when he doesn't have split damage, but more importantly--WHY IS HIS UNUSED STAT SO MUCH HIGHER THAN HIS USED STAT?!?!"NicWester;c-1529981" wrote:

My point was not about his speed due to less ships, which is true, but that the ability prioritization may fall to reinforce vs use of his special that grants the buff. If they keep it the same, so less ships doesn't matter if they dont get the buffs right away.
