This seems to be blatantly incorrect, since CG acknowledged that both Hard and Normal Conquest were too difficult, and tuned down the difficulty. If it was just a matter of players needing to be better, I don't think you would have seen the outpouring of discontent on the forums. It was unanimous, which is not often the case.
So, they explained they made it too hard, They explained that they were going to send out an update and tone it down.... They sent out an update and toned it down and sent out a "make good"....
And you are waiting on what exactly?
they never said they made it too hard, there was nothing at all posted as to whether it was a bug or intentional. you have some post from CG that I missed? if so, please share a link. That is exactly what I am waiting on. if it was intentional, I want to know why there was no advance notice given, and if they will do this again in the future without any notice. if that is the case, I no longer would see a good reason to buy conquest pass
The fact that they said they were investigating, coupled with the fact that they nerfed it and issued a make good is them acknowledging that they made it too hard....
If you are waiting on them to straight up tell you their intention is to power creep the game as people's rosters get stronger, then you will be waiting a long time, you should just assume that is going to happen, because that is how these games work.
is it how "these games work"? have they ever increased the difficulty of an existing event without any notice to players whatsoever? I can't recall that happening in this gane, can you? Every single non legacy game mode has increased in difficulty over time.... The gc's are harder, the raids are harder, the TB are harder.... Etc etc ...
Yes and they announce when new TB or Raids are coming out and explain that the difficulty is increasing from prior versions. Or new challenge tiers are added to events. thank you for making my point? JTR is a great counter to Bossk BH for the resistance feat. But not in this version of conquest. Previous conquest was altered so that the enemy was jacked up and regular counters weren't always going to work. But it was manageable and possible to find a way. This conquest is a whole new level of abject misery and suffering. Your only choice is to buy the Rey GL pack and then spend crystals to get Raddus and GL Rey in time for the next one.

Every conquest is a new conquest... We get a new iteration every 3 months .. each one has had new feats and each time, the feats get more difficult if you don't grow your roster in between them... It's just how it works and has been how it works since conquest has been a thing...
You are correct in that they crept it way too much this time.... So, they acknowledged and communicated and gave a make good to compensate...
How do you expect people to "grow their roster" for upcoming conquests if we aren't told feats and requirements for the next conquest? Or do you support everyone being expected to R9 their entire roster? - Surgical_danSeasoned Traveler

Seems to me they "hoped" normal was just fine after fixing hard without actually checking to be sure it was functioning correctly. Again, why wait for players to beta test something to make sure it works right before you take corrective action? "I hope everything's working right, but if not, I guess the players will let us know."

I'm very interested as well. We know they have test servers with yet to be released content. Were they testing Conquest in a build that has progression we don't have yet and released the wrong Conquest build by mistake?
Nothing really makes sense to me. How does Conquest get released in such a state? If intentional, I am frustrated by the disconnect between CG and the playerbase. If accidental, how does that happen?
I have no expectation that CG will give us information to fully explain the debacle. But I can't imagine a scenario that doesn't at least annoy me. - scuba75Seasoned Rookie

I disagree with this.
Note: talking strictly PvE content here.
They have added new harder content, they have not changed older content to be harder, and they shouldn't do this.
New harder tiers or new harder modes are good.
Moving the goal posts on established content is wrong. If PvE content is always getting harder because new units are added than new players may never catch up.
Note: new feats are not the same as making the battles harder.
Your roster may be growing but that is mostly just more teams, the units themselves haven't gotten stronger. Still max of L85, R9 and 6 dot mods.
It is not like you can use multiple teams in one battle to clear it, so the fact that rosters are expanding has no relevance on needed to power creep existing PvE content.
Raids and TB are perfect examples where as max roster has expanded new harder content was released. They didn't just keep going back and power creep hoth.
Same should be done with conquest. If they want to power creep it, make new tiers with some exclusive rewards don't power creep the old.
The feats are forcing the use of the roster expansion with feats requiring use of the new units.
