I've known this "RNG" was rigged very shortly after I started playing this game a long time ago. I'm seeing now though just how bad it actually is. First off when you have to "balance" the awful AI with hidden mechanics and buffs it's basically a blatant slap in the face to players and makes our own stats almost pointless. The hidden AI buffs aren't even subtle. I've had so many matches to study this and its apparent in all aspects of the game. Facing opponents who are in every way weaker than you (e.g. lvl, gear, stars, mods, skills) as they proceed to crit 90% of the time while your team consistently struggles with glancing blows or misses altogether can easily be chalked up as bad luck. When it consistently happens this way with a wide variety of matchups, synergies, etc. however, it quickly becomes clear just what is happening. This is unfortunately a common model in the gaming industry now and it works almost every time. While we pull our hair and rage and constantly question if it was just "bad luck" EA continues to rake in the dough. Always be wary when purchasing these games that have these $100+ packages for sale that are completely not worth it. It's a good sign that hidden mechanics/ RNG rigging will be present in an effort to nudge the players into making in game purchases. The only way to stop this is to quit the addiction. Though this is a great game aside from these issues, it always surprised me how successful these companies are when there are far better games out there for a fraction of the cost of a single data pack.
