Client Must Be Restarted

You just wasted 16 of my Cantina energy, thanks guys!

    It's silly, that's why I'm bothered. Don't be bothered by the fact that I'm bothered, I can be bothered if it is bothering. They could have made sure people wouldn't lose things, but like many things in this game, they are rushed out before all their ducks are in a row.

    I'll complain every time it happens to me, deal with it. Fortunately, this is the first, and hopefully only, time.


    Normally I would be with you. We need warning for these, because they will always be necessary. However, we had warning for this one.

    Warning doesn't replace proper implementation. They could've gotten this right, they just decided not to.

We tried messaging that these restarts would be daily @ 9:30 AM Pacific every day so players could plan around it, but that is still not close to the experience we want for our players.

    We've got tasks to help ameliorate forced restarts in the future. So stick with us, we want to change this too.

    We don't have any restarts planned for the rest of the week, but emergency fixes can pop up.

    Again, we're aware of the issues caused by the restarts, but know we're working to resolve them in a future fix.

    @ CG_RyDiggs. It looks as if there is supposed to be a client restart today 05/06 per @EA_Jesse . Any info as to when that will be? I would hate to have 2 days in a row of spending an hour + in the raid to see the client restart message at the end and not have the battle count.
