Reaper's Reward Event Restart

I played Week 1 with a game save, but I deleted that save afterward. Now I’ve started a new save, and the Week 2 challenges are available. However, I don’t have the progress I made during Week 1 anymore, and I don’t remember the things I needed to do.

I would like to restart the challenge so that I can have a Sim with the same skills and progress I should have by the end of Week 1. Is there any way to replay Week 1, or reset the progress to be in line with what I should have achieved?

  • Simply work on your gardening and cooking to reach the required level to complete the tasks. It wont be any easier following the tasks from week 1. If you have any problem doing a specific task just ask. Since this is a new game you need to buy the Grimophone again.

  • You do not have to redo anything. Click the reaper icon to see what you have already unlocked.

That's not because of the unlocked items. My issue is with my sim's progress. I really wanted to redo the tasks of first week for the skills, relationships and mostly belongings being propperly set for week 2... at least some place where I can read it to set it manually?

Well, I created a new save game, started playing, and now the tasks for the week are no longer appearing for me... It seems like you have to do it in one go. If you save and quit the game, the tasks disappear. I’ve seen other players having the same issue. Is there already a solution for this?

Is there any way to restart the Reaper's Rewards quests on a new save? I lost the save where I had completed the first 3 weeks of events and would like to start again on a new save but the quests all show up as completed already. I know it's not necessary to do all the quests on the same save but not being able to do them all spoils the fun of the event. It's also difficult to get everything set up for the next week otherwise as the seed packets are clearly rigged for the quest to give you lilies and cherries as these are not usually in starter seed packets!

I don't think there's any way to do what you want.

You don't need seed packets to get lilies and cherries. They are readily available by harvesting wild plants. Lilies can be found in the neighborhood of Magnolia Blossom park in Willow Creek. A cherry tree can be found in the Parched Prospect neighborhood of Oasis Springs, near the playground. Make sure you spend enough time in the neighborhood for the plants to grow and reach maturity, and then be in that neighborhood before 5 a.m. to make them harvestable. You should be able to collect your harvest by 6 a.m. These are both Summer plants if you have Seasons, so make sure it's the right season.

You can use Dr. June's Weather Control Device to change the seasons if necessary. You'll find it in Outdoor Activities and it costs 1500. You could put one of them in Magnolia Blossom park, for free, if you don't want to spend your Sim's money on it. I think you'll need to upgrade it before it can be used for changing seasons.

See I'm having the same issue. I want to actually redo the whole event so I can have my sim in a new save experience the event after the new pack releases, but it seems impossible to just reset the quests.

This event should be added as a scenario in my opinion, after the event is over, and it should reward the same consumables as the event did.
