CLS event

Alluding or guessing is a lot different than being told. This game has too many directions to spin and most of the time, it doesn't work out.

Fair would be giving people enough time to farm a toon using the 3 refreshes.

A bonus would be double drops and/ shard shop.

Plus we were told there would be more options other than packs.

To rub salt in the wound , the whole event is supposedly great. Well that's awesome, a good amount of people can't participate in the hard work the dev did.

You’ve been playing since launch? Did you intentionally buck the meta? At least three of those toons had their time to shine. I’ve been playing since January 16 and I’m almost out of toons to farm in arena. I could farm the last ones but I really don’t want to because they’re lame. I’d rather bank the currency.

I can maybe understand not having r2 because of the empire requirements but those are also pretty easy to farm. I could also understand not having Farmboy Luke since he was never worthwhile but we were told forever ago that it would be wise to farm him.

Seriously, just by continuously farming toons since the start you should have been within a stones throw of finishing these toons before the end of the event.

I hate when people complain about the difficulty of something. It should be hard. Commander luke is one of the best players in the game. If he was easily acquired by everyone than this game would be lame. I had this happen to me with emp on his first event and I had to watch a ton of people get him before his return event. Deal with it. And prepare for the next one

I'd be more than happy to buy 3 old Ben bundles but since I can only buy one it is pointless and I'll save my money. Your turn....

Many ppl on my guild had got him from non-activated to 7* (and the rest will most likely get there before the event is over, some may have to buy one pack) by simply adding more refreshes to their daily routine. Some had to buy a $10 crystal pack to do that, some didn't. Whoever paid attention and managed their resources well managed to do it.

And again, that's not my point. Why does everyone think they should be able to get the high-end stuff all the time, every time? Each chooses how they play, sometimes the chips fall in your favor (like they did for me this time around), sometimes they don't (like they didn't for me with Thrawn and I had to make a decision, am I spending a bit more to join the race or am I waiting this one out and getting ready for the next one - either way you wouldn't hear me whining about "not getting a super high-level toon because I'm f2p").

For some reason some ppl playing the game don't want it to have any level of difficulty or layering. That's how you make a game stale.

Im f2p since around Feb '16. The only real reason I won't get CLS is because I only have a 6* R2. Not enough empire characters. My Farmer Luke is 4*, but I could bring him up in time if I wanted to do it. I have STH, Leia, Old Ben, all 7*, high gear. I'm not complaining because this event will return. And I'll be ready then. As a f2p, you have to remember, EA makes games to make money. They're a business. That you can play this game as easily as you can without ever spending a dime is credit to their design. But, a f2p player will ALWAYS be behind a p2p. Accept it. Relish in your successes without having to pay for it. Know that someone getting the better of you is because they bought that chance.

I don't pay a penny (or a cent) for this game I genuinely enjoy.

Presumably - those that pay, pay on my behalf. I'm riding on their coat-tails as it were.

Stands to reason that they're gonna have access to the good shizzle the first time round.

Old Ben at 6 stars 15/100 and Luke Skywalker 90/100 can I get them before the end of the event? I am buying cantina energy 3 times a day

At average, 3 refreshes, plus all the normal energy should get you about 20 OB shards a day. So you should be able to.
