The developers are kept locked in a building with limited access to the outside world. They have 1 laptop and have to pass it around when one of them gets an idea. It is said, many of them now look like Gollum due to lack of sunlight and a diet of raw salmon fished out of the American River, which flows outside their offices. They are not allowed to read the forums, and therefore will not read your posts. It’s claimed that few have spoken to 1 or 2 on Discord, but the AI that controls CG promptly erases any trace of their existence.
You forgot to mention that the laptop is running a version of Lotus-1-2-3 from the mid-80's and it keeps crashing. This is why they are unable to keep track of all the different currencies and the needed amounts of each. Of course a calculator would work as well but the batteries on the old TI-30 need to be replaced.
