Agree with all of these comments. My problem is that I have hundreds of gear that I have been holding for upgrading toons and now that doesnt matter.
Now, there is a different currency and gear to level up a toon in Era so all my other gear is useless. So instead of using gear to level up its something entirely different that CG can remove at the end of the Era creating scarcity so they can charge more.
So thats fine with me. I will juat wait til the end of the era and upgrade then.
What they dont understand is this new update has effectively prevented urgency to upgrade the toon. I cant use it anywhere outside of the Era. There is no incentive to upgrade it in Era so why am I going to spend money to upgrade it.
Agree that the need to upgrade the toon is wildly deferred. Even if you want r10 mats, being 7* doesn't help you. Only EraLevel helps you, so why spend on shards?
Yea they know there is no way to rebalance the game with the old gear as older players especially whales have to much of those resources
