Coloseum Pay-Wall

I encounter the same problem. I have both characters at level 45 now and can get in tier 4 up to 40/50%. It's just impossible to get any further and you need at least to get to tier 5 to get the right stuff to upgrade again. Even when I would buy 1x the pack than still that wouldn't be enough to get to tier 5 as far as I can see. So basically I'm stuck and probably will stay there until a few weeks have past :( Last coliseum I got up to level 75 with much less effort and investment. I think they made it a bit too hard now...

I spent around $60 at the start of coliseum to get era currency. Was a decent  investment. The first week I was always was in the top 10(1000 currency) since then I dropped to top 30(500 currency) a day. I can't remember the last time I leveled.  They are both level 45 and I been stuck in tier 4 for a while

Some of the posters in this thread are actually doing the community a massive service. 

All that you get from some light to moderate spending is faster access to the next paywall, whilst the f2p crew slowly catch up to you. 

Take note, potential Coliseum spenders. 

You forgot to add we get lightspeed tokens. I'm already at 3(had a little currency when I started) and by the time people catch up I will have another 1 or 2 and it will probably be a month until I'm back at my normal 100 a day. Normally it takes me 50 days to get 1 token and I got one my first 5 days of doing this.

I started this because I wanted Bo katan mandalore sooner. Now I have to decide who to get with my other 10k. I can't decide on the poncho bros for their event and to make a k beq team or get 2 for a great mother's team.

Update: so yeah, guys I unlocked Cinta Kaz, leveled her up, and... I'm doing even less damage than with two chars :D great experience CG for people who keep your company up with dollars! CG_Meathead 

FYI: Your summons get the AVG level of your non-summoned toons. 

If you get a new toon and the level of that toon is less than the other toons you have unlocked and levelled, it will literally reduce the level of your summons. This can affect things like landing debuffs. In many cases a timely Blind preventing an AoE will add more to your run than a low-level additional character (especially since they'll die to 1 or maybe 2 AoEs and not be around to contribute. 

There is, of course, also RNG. Even with everyone levelled, sometimes the Blind lands, sometimes it doesn't. But if your new toon is significantly lower level than your established toons then, yes, including them can lower your score. 

Update: After 6+ weeks without even one character level upgrade I finally upgraded few levels after Dedra patch. Meh.
