conquest feedback

Hello there.
I was always upset, that I can't participate in hard conquest because of GP restrictions. I really miss the point of such things. Why u can't add some restriction like "u haven't completed normal? then u can't try hard" and keep calm about all this? why you need to add gp restrictions?? gp is just a stupid number!
or why u can't just add some big warning written in HUGE red letters, if u try to join to difficulty without hitting recommended gp?? and let the players deicide, what difficulty they want?

But with this new patch you really have outdid yourselves!
Right now I have 1.5M+ GP. Last normal conquest I have finished with red box (all feats completed. all sectors are finished)
....and now I can't participate in it? because some strange guys with curved hands and no brains at all cry hard on forums, that normal difficulty is too hard for them??

greaaat! now I'm supposed to do what? to beat guys with gear 11 (on the fifth sector!!!) with my sith empire squad, when my the lowest character from this squad has r5? and I have more then 10 characters with r5+!! and these characters + some characters with gear 10-12 are more then enough for normal!!
and have u seen rewards for easy lvl? I don't know why I should even bother myself with acquiring this junk!!

I'm playing this game for a year. yeah, I admit, that it isn't too much, but I never was this close to dropping it.

@Firebrigade I have never had problems with stamina on normal with my 1.5M+ gp.
lack of some characters for some feats -sure. but stamina? nope. I have never even used stims for restoration of it.

Right, so what I’m saying is, if they wanted you specifically to have a tougher time in the normal mode, they should make the stamina requirements such that your roster couldn’t make it through, rather than locking you out altogether.
  • @Firebrigade yep. I get it. I completely agree, but it is harder to do. Besides, if they do it your way, some guy with much higher gp, but with curved hands and lack of brains would appear and start to cry, that conquest is too difficult. so devs just make this.
I don't understand why. Why they can't approve of some non-standard developments? When someone pushes hard, gives everything he have and achieves great results it should be encouraged.. but devs do almost the opposite. I just don't see any point in such strange rules. It doesn't bring them any money. It doesn't bring anything at all except for couple of annoyed guys like me.

The gp restrictions arnt needed. I posted the same thing.

Each game mode has it's own things, and they can be at odds with each other. You need more GP and teams to push through a TB.

You may want a tighter roster for GAC, and TW.

They always want to push development, and that drives a need for GP gates, which come in many forms, in many game modes.

I don't think it is fair to compare TBs and conquest. There is huge difference between "You need more GP and teams to push through a TB." and "u can't participate at all without reaching certain amount of GP".
Yep. You could say, that u need 80M gp to try geo TB, but it is just 1.6M per player for the hardest TB! And for hardest conquest u need 2 times and a half more - 4M!

Let's be honest? They don't "want to push for development". I don't know why, but they push for some imitation of development. I don't see how artificial expansion of my roaster by raising characters/ships, which I don't want and/or need, which I will never use anywhere, could be called "development".

Besides, doesn't it look really stupid to u, that I was completing normal over and over and then suddenly I can't because of some artificial restriction?

They are all game modes, and they drive players to develop in specific ways, that is a fair comparison.

No one is telling you to develop anything you dknt find useful, and if they are, you should be wary of that advice. There are plenty of worthwhile things to invest in for many reasons, from events to unlocking powerful characters.

The current restrictions on Normal are a bug and should be addressed by the team at some point, they have already acknowledged this.
  • @Kyno hey! these are great news. mb I should monitor devs announcements more often) Thanks for the info about acknowledging a bug.

I don't agree about the rest, but.. looks like normal difficulty will be the way it was before and with hard difficulty nothing will change for sure. so there is no point for me to bother u any further with my whining..)

Could I somehow close this topic?
