Conquest QoL: General

Seriously CG, c'mon. We get that you need to monetize some stuff: top reward track, energy refresh rate, disk swaps... sure, OK. But the bugs, the fun being replaced by grind, and just the amount of stupid stuff going unfixed has annoyed me to the point that I stopped buying the $10 pass and I doubt I'm alone there. The following are pretty reasonable asks IMO.

1) Make enemy stats viewable from the squad select screen. Especially speed. Duh. I might use boosters more if I knew the numbers.

2) We appreciate the new replayable bonus node for datacron mats... but while you're at it, how about make EVERY node give conquest credits on a replay win? Not keycards obviously, just the gray credits. Anything worth buying from conquest shop and the jawa nodes costs hundreds of these credits. And we're spending crystals on energy refreshes to grind out these feats right? So idk, maybe the full amount on first clear, then half thereafter? This would also disincentivize cheesing feats/stamina by losing battles.

3) Feats: In battle counter for the feats? Or at least a quick little on screen flash notification when we complete one? And... please, make the rules make sense. Supposedly the feat actions don't count from battles forfeited, but they do when we lose or time expires? Also It seems like an "attempt to inflict" certain debuffs doesn't count if the attack that inflicts it kills the enemy. Very relevant when using GAS for the 20 armor shred feat. About the toon-specific requirements, sure, it's neat flavor/style. But just stop with the requirements that they survive the battle. My Sion and Nihilus are just geared enough to do what they need to in GAC/TW. I will never bring NS initiate to gear 8. Same for Gamorrean Guard.

4) Battle timer: Just did a separate post on this, given how tanky and fast the enemies are it should really be 10 minutes not 5. Timing out on grindy battles I could win in 7 or 8 min is really frustrating.

5) Disks. Clearly the randomizer for the disk caches could be better. Also, it'd be nice to be able to see the disk caches at the point of having to decide to take the initial challenge path fork or not.

6) Stamina refresh - 1 point per 30 minutes = 5 hours effective cooldown per battle. Why so stingy? Its bad enough that the energy refreshes every 12 min instead of 6.

7) Omicrons: Super weird choice to have just the one Conquest omicron... for non-separatist droids... the least useful droids. Honesty you guys should refund those omi mats, make it a TB omicron, and then make ALL of the TB/TW omicrons usable in conquest. Lot of cool synergies possible between existing omi's and the data disk perks.
  • I for one would love to see all those implemented. Just wanted to note though that anything materially changing the economy isn't QoL - more rewards, faster regen, etc. And so I suspect it's even less unlikely CG will do those.

    Yeah thats a fair point. Only applies to 2 and 6 though: the credits for replays and the stamina refresh rate. Clearly, they want us spending crystals for energy or the $30 pass for faster regen, thats clear from the cantina style 12 min refresh rate and their choice to make all battles 20 energy from 16. It sucks that they feel like they have to purposely make the economy a bad deal to prod us to pay up for a half decent deal.

    But the rewards per battle though... Show me one other game mode where we spend energy that maxes out at 144 and regens 1 per 6 or 13 min, and we get zero rewards for replaying completed missions. Aside from progressing on these grindy feats of absolute drudgery, and getting the missed "keycards" from battles we didnt 3 star the first time around. I dare anybody from CG to try to tell us that's a feature not a bug
