I like the idea of keeping him in a mostly support role, but I don't think he needs anti-Droid synergies, and I think he should gain the Phoenix tag and have a Unique that works under Hera lead.
Although, as always, you need to ask who among the current Phoenix team you would remove to make space. They're all pretty integral.
