There are plenty of Light side characters who can land debuffs as well as apply buffs, they also have a cleanser. Darkside mostly land debuffs and some apply buffs, but there is no cleanser.
I think Darkside does need a cleanser to help balance it out, or remove/reduce the amount of Lightside characters that can land debuffs.
