Darth JarJar Lightspeed tokens

I was just curious about whether the Kyber lightspeed tokens from the Darth JarJar event will work on pirates? Seems like they were added about a year ago – so, any confirmation on that? I would guess that it's important to a lot of people, and can seriously affect the decision making.

there is no confirmation yet however it is worth noting that Darth Jar Jar will be unlocked at 4 and 5 stars around the end of August, and Captain Silvo (last Pirate character) was added at the start of September last year
