Dear Devs, please allow speed to determine who goes first in a 100% TM tie

Instead of the bizarre multi-way coinflip could you please just make them go in the order of fastest first, then in the order in which they arrived at full tm?

Example: Rex uses his bro skill. Your whole team is now at full TM. Everyone got there at the same time. The fastest character (speed stat) should go first unless there's a tie for the exact same speed.

You chose to use Darth's AOE and activated the opponents Rex leadership, now his team is at full tm! But you still have 3 more toons that got to full tm. Currently the game reflips all those coins and can allow your opponent to take all his Toon's turns before any more of yours. That's plain silly. Whoever got to full TM should go before the other team regardless of if they suddenly gained full TM. Make those calculations easier on my phone and just put them in proper order.

That'd help against rancor and the like as well. You do teebo's special while running other ewoks, and you have to pray rancor doesn't go before your teebo has his chance because of TM gain from elder or scout or chirpa hitting him :'(
  • That would make it so much harder to beat sith assasin squads. I prefer to keep it this way.

For example, when facing a zMaul(L), EP, Vader, Sith assassin, zSid:
    - Sith assasin goes first
    - Maul dazes everyone to prevent them from getting turn meter
    - DN increses your cooldowns
    - zSid allplies dot's and expose
    - Vader applies more dot's and hurts everyone with expose

Don't think my squad can recover from that :p I'm no expert and I think people can come up with way more deadly turn orders for full sith squads. Furthermore, with the current system I can still beat zMaul squads who are faster then me. If we would apply your turn order system, everyone would chase the speed meta even more...

There are two possible approaches to TM gain when someone else is at 100%. One is suggested by OP: first there, first to go. The other would be similar to the "stack" from MTG, basically that newer effect goes on top of the older one and is resolved first. That way, if a single character gets to 100%, they attack right away no matter what. Whichever way they choose, they should make it consistent and not completely random.
I find the second option more logical (it is meant to interrupt whatever the other team was doing), but it would make Biggs even more annoying and mostly ruin my droids' chances against him...

It's logical in Magic because it's supposed to interrupt an action, yes.
In this game, it should be first come, first served.

You would still need to figure out what team goes first, or would you have that still be fastest?

This could be bad for zaul teams; saw all my toons are faster numerically then 3rd in line on zaul team. SA goes fills them up, anyone (not maul) goes my team gets full tm, now my team goes or afew of my team goes because I have more speed that zaul didn't need to get there...

First come first serve or just speed?

I do like the idea but there is a lot that would go into it and we would probably end up back at the biggs era of who has the fastest 1 or 2 toons....

I have, but I was sweating when it happened, just sitting there waiting chanting "don't die, don't die"

Best match ever, this is why I stuck with my team and never went zaul.
  • This destroys any counter-meta that isn't "be fastest." Right now, you can field teams that don't have to be the fastest ones on the field, through other TM manipulation. Eliminating that interrupt function essentially reduces the game to its earlier state of speed, speed, and more speed only.

This also would allow for more dumbed-down strategy. The entirety of a Zaul match would be "have the faster Sith Assassin." Doesn't matter what you do, because your entire team gets to go first.

Now, you have to chose what to do, whether it is against another Zaul team or a counter-team like Rex. Against either of those, you have to decide if the opening AOE is worth giving the other team sufficient TM (guaranteed for Rex, on a dodge, at least one of which is likely, for a Zaul) to cause an RNG fest interrupt, or if you should single target, and when to use an AOE.
