Yes, Palpatine gives bonus TM everytime a debuff is inflicted which is just as good as Zader IMO. Zader has those debuffs never disappear though, but bonus TM I found to be alot more useful. I know this will make Deathtrooper EXTREMELY good in P3 of the AAT.
Why would this make DT good in P3? He doesn't gain loads of tm like EP and TFP, and if you're including DT instead of a tank to go along with those 2 and Vader/Chirpa lead, then he's rarely going to get a turn anyways. He might be good if you don't run Chirpatine or zVader, but he'll be a waste of space if you do. That is, of course, if you find it worthwhile to mortgage your house to get them to 7*.
I don't run Chirpa as TFP does much better for me. I'm not planning on 7* them because I'm not rich lol, it was just a thought. But since under a Palp lead, he'll keep taking turns as demonstrated in the video.
The thing for P3 though is that you want EP and TFP taking as many turns as possible, so they'll be the only ones going once you spread shocks about, and then 3 tanks to protect them from the boss counters. DT will take significantly fewer turns compared to EP and TFP, which means you'd rather want a taunter in that position instead. He does do well with debuffs and such, but not enough to warrant a P3 spot IMO.
Only way to really know for sure is for a whale to test him in P3.
I'm saying that since he doesn't have a unique ability that gives him TM like both EP and TFP do, he won't be of use since he won't be taking turns comparatively, and he won't be taunting, so he'll be dead weight, no pun intended. Someone can try, but he won't be as effective.
