Defeat Cad Bane with Omega (Fugitive) present

Has anyone able to get this quest finished?  I have plenty of Omega (Fugitive) shards (266) and I've now beaten Cad Bane in two different locations (LS Hard 5-E and Cantina 6-G) and it hasn't trigger...
