Gear plays a big hole because each scanner gives 10% potency which is huge....
So if your focus are raids, potency sets and scanners are you friends...
Yeah that's the extra 20% that would take me to 93% potency if I geared him with the 2 scanners (since my mods give him about +60% potency) so mods aren't really the issue I guess.
There's only one big scanner if you're in gear 8 and that's the one at max gear 10. So that's only 10% extra Potency.
