- Voted no but I also didn't like protection when it was implemented. However, looking back it was a good move so who knows what this will look like months from now.
I just don't like the thought of farming more for my maxed out toons but from EAs perspective this is a deeper way to enhance characters which in turn means more money for them. I'd rather develop other characters and see some revisions in many of the useless characters that are already in the game. We need like 10 more revisions like the one they just did with Anakin
It's going to happen regardless of these polls, posts or how people feel about it now. - Yes, they sound interesting, cant wait to try it.
- the whole game is farming tho what did you expect there to be ? lol its like joining final fantasy and go "i hate killing monsters"
- Personally, I think some people don't realize it. We like to farm things. That's why we play. More things to farm can be good. By providing a new feeling of progression. It might take a week to get a raid gear. It might take 3 weeks to get that raid gear and the other purples just to get the next gear lvl on a toon. But in the meantime u might be able to find a mod that makes a given toon much more useful, maybe several times a day, at first. Yes these mods will be 100 percent disposable garbage in a week or two when u find better ones. But it will be something new to do. The discovery part will be fun, even if the mechanics need some work.
For those having issues with GW, mods can be a quick way to make your weak azzz bench toons useful enough to finish GW.
Do I want mods? I can't vote until I see what im voting on. It could be good. It could be bad. - Shaolin_Punk_6610 years agoHero (Retired)Sounds like not as many agree with me on this particular poll. I'm excited for any customization. I understand why people are upset that it's not it's own energy, but that would be WAAAy too easy. Get 120 energy every day for free jet to get all the customs you want? No way, this is a build game, let us enjoy the process and keep people from lighting all their fireworks off in one go.
It will put lots of folks into a position of looking at their cantina energy and asking, "which do I need more, hero shards or mods?" That will be different for everyone. Doesn't mean that mods are a bad idea. It's a great idea! "ShaolinPunk;542392" wrote:

Mostly what it means is that new players will be forced to choose between cantina node characters and playing arena.- How about fixing the game before adding new content thats will probably break 10 more things

It depends on how many characters are worth the mods. It's gonna be different for every player sure, but it's still a new opportunity. I'm not sure how new opportunities are viewed as a negative in this case. To play is to grind. Time to ask bigger questions if we don't like the grind anymore, perhaps that's what you're talking about. "ShaolinPunk;542542" wrote:

To play is not to grind. To play is to strategize and to create new, unique lineups and strategies. Every time they increase the grind, it makes it more difficult to create new lineups because it takes more work to level a character. @ShaolinPunk- Shaolin_Punk_6610 years agoHero (Retired)

I include your perspective in my grind. Kill order and best viable options are a repetition of strategy. Both and.
