I think you are misreading it. Most android 6.0 devices will still work. It is just a select few older ones that won't. If you device isn't on the list then you are fine.
i am not missing anything, i bought a tablet last year with the sole purpose to play this one game on the 3 days a week i travel. cannot use my phone, cannot use bluestack which i use at home. giving someone 5 days notice that the purchases they made 6 hours ago will be worthless is nothing more than 'theft by deception', which is a crime up to a first degree felony.
What tablet? I find it hard to believe you bought a tablet last year that is on that list.
Prestige ELITE 8Qi. they are still avail on amazon today. if you are going to buy a tablet just to play a game when you are not home why buy a new one unless the game makers tell you you will need a newer model soon? i would bet this has been in development since before i even bought the tablet. no offense but its rather disappointing the trolls on these forums like to jump on players for expressing their opinions and challenging their merits.
You don’t know how long it’s been in development, players defending the game aren’t “trolls” (that’s just a cheap shot), and you’re claim that they “deceived” you has no warrant.
You are not defending the game, you are trolling this player who is rightfully distraught. While i am not legal expert i see his point. They were selling game items to players they knew would not be able to use that item or even play the game a week in the future. That is certainly deception.
Yeah, that’s not trolling. And every players purchases will be useless at some point in the future. It just happens that for some people, that could be now. You don’t know how long CG knew that this would be a thing, and either way, it is what it is. When you spend on a mobile game, you have to realize that someday your purchases will be useless. I’m not trolling, I’m advising someone on why they’re distress does not warrant an argument or legal case.
Trolling is all the responses to this guy that are not helping, but trying to put them down. I stand by calling you a troll. That said, it is not for you to judge what upsets people and what is fair to them, had i been in the same position i would be very upset with CG/EA as well. I know for sure how long it takes to implement graphics engine updates in a game, i coded for many years in the 80s and 90s. To assume they did not know about this requirement change far in advance is foolish on your part. Not sure where you got your legal degree but your input on what is legal and what is not does not seem wholly valid. As any misrepresentation on a sale could be argued in court.
