CG may be shooting themselves in the proverbial foot by making the higher gear tiers so difficult to obtain.
I'm a 5M+ dolphin, I spend around $100/month on this game. I had all the required characters at GL12, mostly zetaed and three more zetas to spend. I considered buying the packs to up them to GL13/R3-4. But then I thought - 5* unlock + tons of expensive gear needed + 4-5 months worth of GETs just to get him to 7* + 3 or 4 zetas + weekend lost to multiple attempts. And I just walked away. Not worth it. Why pay for a toon that I won't be able to gear in the foreseeable future?
When I didn't get CLS the first time around, I felt like I should have tried harder and planned better. I felt challenged. Now I just don't care. No amount of planning could have gotten me GAS this time, only $$$.
I'll patiently wait for his return.
