- I need more vader ship shards.
- @war I agree that tournaments should just be a way to unlock characters and then they get put on hard nodes or at least make them farmable some how.
Very glad they are giving us a way to get jyn leveled up. I would be fine with a jyn tournament every few weeks.
I spent 3 days straight in the chirrut tournament and was able to get 2nd. I was pretty pumped but have had no way to get him to 7 stars so I cannot even use him in raids..... even if I bought the $100 package I still could not get him to 7*s....
Tournaments are pointless if they are only run once and then there is no way to level then up. "War;812519" wrote:

How many scores did you get? I was 35 with 3,9k, then was dropped to 212 in an hour before end. I do not know how can you get more in 60-90 minutes :/

That's one of the main reasons tournaments are flawed. That many points on my tourney shard would have gotten you no where near the character, it would have probably been 20 useless shards. For all the strategy, bench building, and ally point management of it all. You're ultimate result is still largely based on RNG.
You could be on a shard of whales, dedicated F2P veterans determined to win despite it all, or a shard of people who have given up, or don't want to try their hardest for one reason or another. Tournaments are a cool feature, but should be used to unlock a character for free for a limited time. Then release the character in a hard to farm location so every shard you earn shaves time off that farm.
You're absolutely right. I was lucky there.
To brings things a bit more in perspective, I started playing late August, early September his year and I just reached 80 two days before the tournament. And since I spent a bit of money and started farming ally points from the GW shipments, I also got a 5* Chirrut. And I held back on the Vader TIE.
I spent about 280k ally points.- I'm waiting to see if Jyn Erso is a viable toon before I look to go hard at getting her starred and geared up.
If she does turn out to be a good toon, then I may try to get more shards for her in that next tournament since I already got her unlocked. "Mojavelandbaron;813342" wrote:

Got to love this game. Others have said it already but e.g. in the shard I ended in that would not have placed you in top 100.

- Yes this is the chance I have been waiting for, I get to double my Jyn shards to 20........
Maybe in August I will have done enough Jyn tournaments to unlock her. - I'm going to add this in to every "tournament" thread from now on.
I don't care. - Yay, 10 more useless Shards that I'm gonna get since the tournament is too hard.
