How is this logic? You can create any number of reasons to justify it. It's a Holo table game. The only logic is you get rewarded a character than compliments the team you used to get him.
It was a joke.- The Emporer's test of might. Only the worthy survive. Makes just as much sense as Yoda killing off all your Jedi toons.
