Era battles when where why?

Can we please get some transparency on the era battle schedule. It was changed up for pirates making it harder to get shards and now with this short one are we not having era battles are we only getting them for the toons? I bought the pass to be able to compete in the era battles and get more shards and now the schedule which was laid out earlier this year isn’t being followed. Please provide some clarity and allow for transparency. This is supposed to be a new feature and form of progression for the game and in order to use it correctly we need to know how and when it will be available.
