I see a lot of “everything’s beating executor.” Where’s the proof. I HAVE beaten it using mal, and home one, it is FAR from reliable, and when executor is up to 7 star I’m literally 2-13 against it so far with testing. I have not tried negotiator yet, and have heard very little that’s been promising.
If it’s so terrible on defense, why aren’t they being targeted and dropped out of top spots everywhere in arena?
It autos everything, and holds very well. I don’t know what else you wanted, that’s top of the meta, 100%.
Try a little site called YouTube. Videos of every fleet in game besides Endurance beating it.
Rebels can do it with a G11 Ackbar.
Not hard to post isolated things on YouTube. Also, I’ve seen a lot of trash defensive lineups in those videos.
Of course rng willing it CAN happen those are the one in 15 shots being posted, the losing ones are deleted. This ship is way stronger then people are making it out to be and is far from needing a buff.
The one thing it does need 100% is that 7 star should be smoking 4 stars, they need to correct that. - I wish people would stop acting so surprised when a character or ship isn’t at all what the developers say. I also wish people would stop defending CG with the reasons of maybe we are just missing a ship or something else will get changed so it works as intended. CG straight lied to the playerbase about this ship, they said from the start this will be a top tier ship basically a Galactic Legend of ships yet almost every other capital ship day one has been able to beat it and as expected the devs didn’t like that so they say it’s not working as intended. If the Executor really needs another ship to make it work maybe the devs shouldn’t have touted it as highly as they did because all this does is make them look bad at their job.
- Why do we need to discuss this at all? There is a simple solution to the problem.
They should change the cooldown for the Death Star annihilate ability to 0, then no other fleets will be able to touch an Executor on defense. For mirror, only speed and RNG will be decisive.
That's what we want. - HokieChuck8885 years agoRising Ace

In a game like this, time spent playing, diligence and/or money equate to an advantage. That advantage is all people are rightfully asking to be fixed. Nobody is saying make it impossible to beat. The biggest stain on this release to me is the disparity in viability between a lower star Executor and a maxed one. When people are dropping mods off Piett in an attempt to restore sanity that's a huge issue.
A lot of people are slamming their testing or lack thereof but I guarantee you the devs and everyone else are often on unreasonable timeframes to release... for a game that inherently becomes increasingly more complex with every variable (characters, ship, relics, gear etc) that gets added to the game. I'm fine with issues. There always are in any software release I've ever seen at my job..,just some much much smaller in impact. What we all deserve for giving this company a couple billion dollars over the years is for these issues to be prioritized and fixed immediately. "Looking at it for a potential fix in the future" doesn't cut it to me. They need to tell us this is priority one. I don't care if it impacts upcoming releases. Git gud with design, development, testing and probably most importantly forecasting time for a release if that is a huge issue for the company. - clarencetomas5 years agoSeasoned Ace

Mine got dropped out of top spot in arena in less than 5 minutes. It's all anecdotal.
From what it looks like, executor on defense is very similar to malevolence (in style, not talking about power): none of the starting ships are that fast (some are slow!) and the capital ship kinda sits there and lets the fleet get wailed on. Similar to a malevolence (especially low star one) with HT starting, executor can be beaten by g12 rebels (and of course rebels can always be cursed with bad RNG).
But as long as executor starting lineup isn't settled, and the counter strategies aren't settled and known, of course some lineups will be easier to beat for some fleets, and plenty of unskilled counters will fail.
What we know is that executor has immense strengths, but also has very strange synergy that doesn't flow yet like other fleets, has a relatively slow fleet, and a wonky ability order (and depending on scenario kinda useless special abilities so it uses a basic). Oh, and that users were forced to r8 Piett even though that makes the turn order junky. - SnuggeSnuggles5 years agoSeasoned Ace

That’s a quick “pee in your pants to get warm” solution that wouldn’t sit well for any future meta changes. Every new meta would have to have some convoluted buff like “capital ship is invulnerable” or “at start of battle the Death Star is incapacitated”. - SnuggeSnuggles5 years agoSeasoned Ace

Contact apple.
I got a vault back within 24 hours no issues at all because of this.- Executor is a beast
Such a beast that at 7 stars with R7+ pilots, it gets absolutely wrecked by my Rebel fleet after the first reinforcement.
 - sry, but why is it CGs fault that someone spent 1000 Bucks on this ship?
it is your choice to spend this amount AND your choices which u farmed / geared at this time.
all this panic farming for every new shiny toon is ridiculous!
u have to much money? so please spend it! u are not statisfied with your spendings? learn your lesson from before!
Executor is excatly that what i expected and not less. so i didnt even consider farming or gearing anyone in panic to get this ship day one.
are all these whales reliant on being Fleet #1 ? is it for the crystals? if yes: 500-1000 bucks for 400 crystals daily? wow....
or is it just prestige? if this, then its not a CG problem.
great powerhouse who burns down everyone in offense and CAN be beaten sometimes from older fleets is in my opinion a perfect addition to the current meta.
and burning money and crystal stashes just 7*-ing at day one tells me you dont look for a longtime resourcemanagment game
edit: please dont bring on the argument of false advertisment. this would be the case if Executor would struggle beating old meta on offense. but a 100% win ratio is no false advertisment
