Experience tokens!

After a player reaches max Level (85) in the game all the Experience earned afterwards from battles and activities is lost. Instead of going to waste it can be stored so it can be converted to Experience tokens, which in turn can be used to buy Shards and Items from a new shop, just like the converted tokens in the Shard shop.

    Because of this they give you a box with crystals gear and credits everyday

    No, they give you this as a reward when you complete all daily activities! I'm talking about something else entirely. After you reach level 85 the exp. you earn form activities and battles no longer serves any purpose, and that's why it should be stored, so it can be converted to exp. tokens with which to buy shards and gear from a new shop!
