So as a very long time player, I don't like complaints about farming because that's the game. It is what it is, BUT the OP does have a point about the probability in ship farming being severely strange and not correlative to regular energy farming for some gear pieces. It doesn't scale right for the easy gear pieces. Take for example Mk 1 BAW Armor Mod which helps make your Mk 8 TaggeCo Holo Lens. The Mk 1 BAW is a ridiculously easy farm with regular energy giving you high probability of drop sometimes with multiples, but with ship energy the drop rate is similar to a gear 12 finisher. Someone can say, well you are just unlucky but to that person I would recommend you attempt to farm 1-A in ship battles and compare the drop rate in 1-C Light Side. You will see even in just a few days how ridiculously non-correlative the drop rates are. One could say, well just don't farm that node for that piece, and sure, that's a fine suggestion and obviously I wouldn't waste my fleet energy there, but the fact that the devs couldn't bother to make certain their probability of drops for certain gear pieces is congruent throughout the game is a tad annoying.
