@BaldingHead90 is right on one front though, the value for money in this game is awful... £99.99 for a Phoenix pack where you get 55 shards x6 (considering these have been out for ages) and a bunch of low lvl gear which we all have hundreds of it, is astonishing. I can only guess this is intended for new players but if so, this is how is expected of them to catch up? Shouldn't packs like these be cheaper so it actually helps them catching up?

£100 is the price you pay to play an MMO for a whole year, where you have everything, no p2win items.

Sadly, this is EA model where in order to maintain a high discrepancy between players, the prices can't be too low as it would mean everyone's pretty much on the same level and this is not what the game targets.
Not everyone understands this, that's where the high amount of complains comes from.
As far as I'm concerned, f2p forever (probably) and I'm fine with it. It's only fair that people who spend real money get an advantage and all I can hope for is not to be matched against them.
