There are lots of people complaining that they couldn't complete T2. Imagine how many more there would be if the rewards had been very good. As CapGaSP said: T2 is for the challenge (not the rewards).
@MrClean621 I guess it's impossible to design a "perfect" event in that regard. Imagine if T2 would have been tuned so that any 5 maxed rebels/clones could have beat it. Any 5 was good enough to beat T1. But for T2 you needed more than that. If it was any other way, T2 would have been too easy for lots of people.
@CG_CapGaSP: Thanks, I loved the event. And the new scoundrel events. I hope we'll see more of that in the future. I also appreciate your presence here and on reddit.
Fair enough. I just wish that Cap would have at least hinted around to the fact that you might need some specific characters to complete the event. I'll give him credit, he warned us it would be very hard but when I had 5 maxed characters sitting around for 4 days waiting for the event, I could only assume that I would be able to complete it. There wasn't a lot of sense in wasting resources scrambling to get an additional character ready. I think most people in my shoes would feel a bit disappointed to have a maxed squad for the event but be unable to finish it.
It wasn't close either. I tried everything suggested by threads, guild mates, guides, etc... It was just pretty much impossible to do without a strong AOE.
