You could have just done this and not drawn attention to it and no one would give a crap. Most likely, no one will give crap if you do even after tagging devs on a public forum. I'm just pointing out that posting this thread was stupid.
or…. And just hear me out, this entire post is sarcasm because I wanted the devs to state the obvious. People are transferring accounts, colluding and a million other things that go against the ToS, and they do absolutely nothing about it.
But maybe some people are just too stupid to realize the point of the post. Thank you for reminding me of that.
If you have to explain the sarcasm, it didn't come through. This post is not nearly as clever as you seem to think it is.
edit: also, shard collaboration has been an established practice for as long as the game has existed; if the devs were against it in practice and wanted to enforce this, they would have taken some action, even a token effort, to signal to the playerbase that this is not okay. Shard chats are not a secret and CG clearly accept them as part of the game's environment, just like Discord and the legion of 3rd party bots and websites.
Shard collaboration isn’t the same thing, though, is it? It’s one thing if people decide to coordinate when they choose their payouts to be. It’s another if multiple people are running a shard mafia and actively blocking other players, which is what OP seems to be getting at.
Either way, CG won’t do anything about it.
But maybe some people are just too stupid to realize the point of the post.
