Agree with above 2 posters (and I hadn't realized it reoccurs initially several times). Even without this event, everyone with ships could get 6* Chimera (and it unlocks at 5*, so even if can't get 6* can still get it). Would I like to get 7* Chimera this time, sure, but I don't let that overcome my happiness at what I do get, for free plus the fun of all these events and a new ship to use with interesting abilities.
Just like last time there was the Thrawn event I only got it at 6* because I wasn't willing to spend to get the 7* Phoenix. But I was still happy to get 6* Thrawn. And 800 crystal refresh, I did it, because it was worth more to me than a single piece of gear for 1400 crystals, which I have spent on in the past without regret.If you don't like it, don't do it; players have to make choices what to spend on, if someone chose to farm zetas instead of ships over the past few months, well that was their choice.
