Personally I beat all 3 tiers with droids and it was easy.
May not be that much of an exaggeration. Elder gives a lot of tm with his basic attack. 50% to himself, 25% to other ewoks. That's 75% each one could be getting. An effective 300 speed is really easy to achieve when you only have to fill 25% tm.

Didn't notice Elder to dodge at all, and 300 speed is a HUGE exaggeration. My Empire are all still relatively slow; I think my TFP is only at 215.
