GAC “Make good” lol

I get that GAC have been rescheduled and this main issue is the delay.
However as pointed out by a lot of other posters here, this season is now 6 weeks as opposed to 5 weeks.

In K1 average daily crystals (according to CG) should be 552. For the delayed week K1 got 260 daily. That’s a difference of 292 daily crystals.
For a week delay, that’s 2.044 crystals. This should have been the compensation, but more over, this should have been the compensation starting from the day of the delay, not coming weeks after.

I’ll take the 1.000 crystals, but it’s not a dressing the core issue in a resource management game, where a delay in payout can be worse than the missing rewards in itself.

One other note, to all those complaining about getting tougher brackets: that doesn’t seem like a valid complaint.
Over time everyone will gravitate towards 50/50. A tougher bracket now means an easier bracket next time is all.

Imo this would be fair, if they cut the break-week, and rescheduled the start to the 21st.

Having the GAC from now on in a permanent delay means to me this compensation is not even close to fair.

At least CG is consistent.

There was a 4 event season in progress.

We were at round 2 of event 3 when GAC was taken down for 1 week. Maybe 10 days?

We have restarted with round 1 of event 3, giving all players at least the losing crystals from that round, half of players the winning crystals from that round, which is all bonus for the season. Gain.

We will have the remaining 2 events to complete the season, then everyone will get the season rewards. No loss.

A player may have missed out on a division promotion, so upto 20 crystals per day for those 10 days. 200 crystals max. But other players will have avoided a demotion so they are up those same crystals. The division change can't have happened until the end of the event so this estimation is very generous. Maybe loss for 10% of players. Maybe gain for 10% of players.

The only issue is the delay. The make good easily covers any loss involved in this GAC itself.

My hope is that they will compress the time between the next few GAC so the delay is made up. As I think that they have a schedule where they want GAC to sit amongst everything else, it is reasonable to think they would do this. Net result of that in a few months: 1000 crystals for nothing but a bit of inconvenience.

You still dont get it, dont you? We all lost week of rewards. It is about this. Count the number of rounds till the end of february according to old schedule, and than count the number of rounds according to new schedule. And maybe you will get it. Maybe finally you will understand players.. Couse for now you still dont get it.

I mean I was doing comfortably well in the cancelled GAC with my first battle ending in a victory, but now i got teamed up agaonst kyber 2 even though im kyber 3, all 3 battles were uphill battles with people having 4 gls and executor to my 2 gl and no executor and now im ending this weeks GAC with garbage rewards and no zeta so that 1000 crystall doesnt really cut it

Hm, this is what i think. I lost 1290 crystals and full rewards for 1st place.(crystals doesnt include reward for end of season) So it is around 3k gac currency plus gear, zetas and all mods stuff. And im talking about bronzium 2 league, not kyber. So 1k crystals is 290 short, and 1k gac currency is 2k short. And whole gear and mods stuff. So this make good is like not even close to what players lost. And they try to sell the idea that this make good is consisting some additional crystals...
