GAC Joining Phase
Hello,
Could CG please clarify why is it still using this odd system of "locking roster" on signup for GAC? The TW system works just fine and since the GAC moved to skill-based MM I see no reason why it shouldn't be updated.
Players have no option to leave once joining or make any changes to their roster. That gives significant advantage to players who are around when the "join phase" is about to conclude. In the current system I'm forced to join early just so that I don't forget later in case I don't have time to click a button.
I'm aware of this previous statement:

but since that matchmaking is no longer existent and is based on an already defined number, I find that excuse invalid.
Considering the significant impact on the competetive scene with the introduction of the new GAC, we've seen little to no change in the user experience of this game mode. Only QoL improvent to GAC was the added bar with opposing characters when selecting your squad, which for some reason isn't present in other modes other than Squad Arena.
Would love to know whether we can expect some proper QoL to GAC or not.
